OUR ROCKY

One of our greatest successes this month was our friend ROCKY. A roughly 10-year-old German Shepherd male that we managed to rescue from a kill station in Palma Nuova thanks to dedicated effort. After the rescue operation, our new friend's survival was unfortunately not yet secure. He continued to need our help. Our wonderful donors made it possible for Animal Police to cover all costs for various life-saving surgeries and procedures, and ROCKY was fortunately able to recover completely and regain his will to live. In full health and with renewed joy for life, ROCKY captured the heart of a family that would have gladly given the German Shepherd a new home. Unfortunately, the family lacked some necessities to house a dog. Fortunately, Animal Police found a solution once again and provided the family with the needed fence and a dog house. ROCKY can now enjoy his well-deserved new home with plenty of love and care, for which the entire team is deeply grateful.

VETERINARY COSTS

Urgent action was needed at the cat shelter "El refugio se llama Moixos de Manacor," which Animal Police was able to assist thanks to generous donations. Through the support of our donors, it was possible to cover all veterinary costs worth approximately 800 euros. The lives of very grateful cats were improved, and now their healthy and cheerful nature makes our hearts shine.

NEW SHELTER FACILITY

To counter the cruel kill stations on Mallorca, Animal Police is launching a new project with full determination. We want to establish a new shelter facility to save animals from their imminent death. As you may know, wild, free-roaming dogs are collected by the state and brought to a kill station, where they are given 21 days. Three weeks to have a chance at survival. We want to put an end to this horror as much as possible, help the animals, and above all give them a chance to live. To make this animal dream a reality, we need a lot of financial support and will make efforts in the coming weeks for various fundraising campaigns and firmly believe that another big dream will come true. MISTER RIGHT

For our fundraising campaign, we found our "Mister Right." This wonderful man gave us a promise on February 12, 2019, and 60 days to make it happen. He promised us to double the donation amount collected by then so we could establish the new shelter facility. A true dream man who, as one would expect from a fairy tale prince, appears as a hero in our story at exactly the right moment. We would like to thank Jeannine Meili from Restaurant Pflugstein in Erlenbach for this. Thanks to her, we got to know this prince.
