Dear Readers, Another month full of heartfelt deeds, emotions, tears, joy, and in the end a little smile on my face. I write the newsletter from different places. Sometimes in bed with love-seeking cats who need a bit of rest after surgery and are allowed to sleep in the bedroom. Sometimes at the airport when I have to wait until finally all passengers are allowed to board for Mallorca.
Dear Nadine, Farah, Juan, To everyone considering going to Mallorca to help, here is my only message⦠Go, go, go!!! Many before me have already described it, you will have sore muscles, you will be tired, and Farah will be strict, but always with the animals' best interests at heart, which makes you overlook everything. Farah has a huge heart even if...
Dear Readers, I'll start right away with a follow-up to last month's newsletter. I reported about our peacocks. The second peahen, to whom we wanted to provide a peaceful, beautiful, and species-appropriate life at Finca Noah 2.0, has arrived with us.
A week at a very special place β my time with Animal Police We had arrived. My friend Berni, our Chihuahua Kaj and I stood before a large gate and it quickly became clear: this is not just talk. This is
Dear Readers, A somewhat shorter month, but the events, experiences and rescue operations were no less. The Animal Police family has grown again. We have given little and big souls who were looking for a new home, a gentle hand, attention and security a second chance.
Dear Readers, we at Animal Police, we at Finca Noah 2.0, and all our beloved animal charges hope you've come into the new year healthy and had a wonderful start to 2026. I remember it as if it were yesterday when I sat at Cologne airport on December 31st, 2025 β New Year's Eve β and wrote you the newsletter with December's events.
I was a volunteer helper at the new Finca Noah 2.0 for ten days from December 27, 2025 to January 6, 2026. I have to say: it was simply wonderful. I got to know Finca Noah as a place where animals that have long been unseen or
Dear Readers, What a year! We've shared so many stories about our animals with you. How they were rescued, how they moved in with us, were able to recover with us, received care, and some even went on to their forever homes with their families.
Dear readers, it's that time again β the newsletter from Finca Noah, from Animal Police, will bring you thoughts of Mallorca and our animals. After telling you last month how things went for the animals and us with the big move, dismantling and setup, we'd like to briefly tell you how we've been getting on these past weeks at Finca Noah 2.0
Dear Readers, What a month... Our emotions turned completely upside down. Melancholy, joy, despair, exhaustion, and then, out of nowhere, a surge of new energy. We've been searching for a long time for a new location/farm where our rescued animals could live a beautiful and species-appropriate life.
Dear Readers, Dear Animal Friends, First of all, I want to apologize to you. Last month, I didn't write or send out a newsletter on behalf of Animal Police. But that doesn't mean we forgot about you, nor does it mean we had nothing to report β quite the opposite.
From June 14 to June 21, I had the great fortune of spending a week as a volunteer at Finca Noah in Mallorca. A place dedicated with all its heart to animal welfare. Already upon my arrival in Palma, I had the pleasure
Volunteer Experience Report at Finca Noah by Michelle 06.07.2025-20.07.2025 I had been looking forward to these two weeks for such a long time; and finally it was here π I arrived at Finca Noah on Sunday afternoon. Not a cloud in the sky and accordingl
Hello dear readers, We're reaching out this month with a second newsletter. This summer edition is meant to bring Mallorca and Finca Noah to mind even while you're on vacation. We already hinted in the July newsletter that summer tends to bring more emergencies than usual. The many holidaymakers who flock to Mallorca are fortunately not just party tourists β many explore the island and discover injured animals, lonely creatures, or animals in miserable conditions. We want to share some deeply moving stories that have touched our hearts and will stay with us for a long time.
Two "Repeat Offenders" It felt a little like "coming home" When we drove through the gates of Finca Noah in mid-July, it felt for both of us a little like "arriving". With every meter we drove up the welcoming driveway, we were more and more excited to see our friends again
Dear Readers, Once again, we would like to share moving stories with you that remind us how important it is to stand up for animals. On a Facebook page for animal lovers in Mallorca, Farah became aware of a call for help from a Spanish woman.
Dear Readers,
it's time again for a few lines that hopefully bring you mentally to us here at Finca Noah. One Heart and One Soul In summer 2023, we rescued two elderly dogs from the killing station at Natura Park. The emergency call came in at the last minute. As so often, it was: Farah, can you help? Otherwise they'll die!
In Review: An emotionally heavy month Another month comes to an end. Hello dear readers. As animal welfare advocates and the Animal Police Association, we really had a rough start to 2025. You could have said things could only get better. But that improvement hasn't come yet. May was truly an emotionally exhausting, tearful, and heartbreaking month for us.
Dear Readers,
It's that time againβyou've been patiently waiting for news from our animals.
Every day we experience things that either make us laugh, shake us, or sometimes leave us in despair
Hello dear readers. I promised you in March's newsletter that I would tell you this time how much work animal welfare means. A promise is a promise, and now I wish you lots of fun reading.
Dear Readers,Another month has flown by, which means you're getting fresh news from Mallorca again. A quick look back: In January, I reported with great enthusiasm that our year started brilliantly, and we were full of
Hello, dear readers. We hope you all had a good start to the new year and, above all, that you're in good health. Over the last year, we've reported month after month on what our everyday animal welfare work looks like, which animals we've rescued,
We welcome you, our loyal readers, for the last time this year with our newsletter, and wish you plenty of enjoyment reading in December as well. First, a brief look back and follow-up on the events from November.
Dear readers, the newsletter is back. An eventful and emotional month full of both heartache and joy lies behind us. We're taking you back with us in spirit to our sanctuary, Finca Noah. A month where, as a person and as an animal welfare advocate, you reach your limits.
Animal Police Association: A Safe Haven for Animals in Need The Animal Police Association is more than just a nonprofit organization β it is a place of hope and healing for animals that have suffered a hard fate on the streets
Volunteer Report (Assignment October 6β13, 2024) I had been looking forward to it for so long, and finally it was here: a week at Finca Noah to help care for around 200 animals. Animals that you fall in love with incredibly quickly.
Dear readers, it's that time again. The newsletter that brings you mentally to Finca Noah in Mallorca is back. With sorrow, love, joy, pain and many tears, we give everything for the animals. We
Hello dear and loyal newsletter readers. Every month I share with you the stories and events of the rescued animals that have found refuge here at Finca Noah. More and more animal-loving people are following along with us and are with us in spirit, thinking of us and our animals when we introduce you to an animal and tell their story.
Help us save the lives of animals on Mallorca! My life belongs to the animals. I dedicate myself day and night to rescuing abused, injured and homeless animals on Mallorca. With my own resources, I built Finca Noah to
My stay at Finca Noah! With a mix of excitement and nerves, I drove up to Finca Noah. I dragged my suitcase up the beautifully maintained driveway to the Finca. I must admit, once I arrived at the top, I thought to myself for the first time:
Hello dear and loyal readers. I, Nadine, from the Animal Police Team, am delighted to welcome you again today and take you on a journey into the animal world with my words and the latest news from Finca Noah. Fly little bird
A warm hello to you dear readers. A follow-up to June's newsletter You've patiently waited 6 weeks to find out how tomcat Snow is doing. Over the past two months we've reported extensively about the affectionate white tomcat with his radiant green eyes.
Hello dear friends, it's Nadine here with news from Finca Noah. First, I'd like to tell you what happened with the tomcat Snow and the little kittens from the stray cat colony at the marina in Cala Dor. In last month's newsletter, I reported in detail about the three cats, but whether there would be a happy ending was still uncertainβ¦
Hello dear readers. I'm Nadine from the Animal Police Team Mallorca, and this month I'd like to share a little bit about our everyday life in animal welfare. We hope this newsletter gives you a glimpse of what it means to work tirelessly day after day with both the sorrows and joys of animal protection.
April, a month full of emotionsβ¦ Nebraska is doing poorly Nebraska, our 26-year-old mare, has been causing us great concern for daysβ¦.. In December 2022, she was doing very badly. After a thorough examination by our equine veterinarian
Dear friends, our beloved newsletter is back online. So many of you have been asking when it would return. We want to let you be part of our life with the animals again. A little glimpse into our daily work with the animals.
From the moment I arrived, I could see how well-maintained the entire farm was. Not a leaf or stone was out of place. We pulled up to the property by taxi and were welcomed by around 10 dogs. They jumped around the car and we were greeted warmly and with plenty of barking.
Boots on and off to "Finca Noah" If you love animals, big or small, and want to do more than just pet and feed them β if you want to actively care for and maintain their home β then you've come to exactly the right place. Every single story of these animals deserves your full
A week in service of the animals It has long been my dream to stand up for animals β because my heart belongs to them. When a good colleague told me about her stay at Finca Noah in Mallorca and raved about it, I knew β this
Finally it was hereβ¦. my vacation! Where to? For me it was pretty clear, I was flying to Mallorca. Not that I'd never been there before, but this year my destination was Finca Noah β not a beach holiday, but helping where I'm needed.
Pascal: "In honor and respect for the animal world" It is monumental how Animal Police delivers the highest standards of professionalism and quality to the animals on site in Mallorca to enable them to live a dignified life. In every respect, one can only bow deeply before the commitment that extends to every fingertip and the limited financial resources available for the animals in the sanctuary.
It's Friday, April 29th, 2022, and my flight from Zurich to Palma is on time. My volunteer week at Finca Noah is about to begin, and I'm fully motivated. Full of anticipation, I sit in the plane, my thoughts already racing ahead.
Dear animal lover, What turbulent weeks we've just had! That's why we're only getting back in touch now. We've tackled and implemented a lot over the past few weeks and months, but we've also had to contend with many obstacles and unexpected hurdles.
Goodbye Luz π Unfortunately, we had to say goodbye to our cuddly, lovely senior dog Luz over the rainbow bridge during an emergency operation. We are sad and frustrated, especially because Luz had such a sorrowful life. Luz
I had the privilege of spending my vacation from August 21-28, 2021 at Finca Noah. If you think it's just a bit of petting animals and walking the dogs, you're definitely in the wrong place. It's real physical work that shouldn't be underestimated.
This summer, I spent my vacation for the first time as a volunteer helper at the animal welfare organization Animal Police on Mallorca. Looking back, I can say with great enthusiasm that it was worth every effort and every blister on my fingers and feet to have been there, because Finca Noah is truly a paradise and I wouldn't
I spent a week as a volunteer at the beautiful Finca Noah in July 2021. Farah and her team do wonderful work with great passion and dedication on Mallorca. Finca Noah is hardly comparable to a traditional "animal shelter" as you might know them from other places.
With an oversized empty dog crate, an even larger suitcase, and a backpack, I walked through customs in Palma de Mallorca. Farah was already waiting for me. Everything was quickly loaded into the van and we were on our way R
NEW ARRIVALS PUPPY ALERT! This month things got pretty hectic at Finca Noah. The reason: our new puppies and young dogs. Seven little dogs running around the farm, lying about, playing wildly, and needing constant supervision. It takes time, patience, nerves, and lots of tolerance. Together they're like an earthquake β but each one individually is absolutely lovable.
It was hot in July, even at Finca Noah. That's when everyone enjoys a siesta. NEW ARRIVALS JOHNBOY Johnboy is a small Dachshund mix (according to our Manuela Rapp, there might be some Papillon in him too), about two years old, 30 cm tall and weighs approximately five
NEW ARRIVALS RUBINA with kittens ONIX and SAPHIR Rubina, the sweet little Podenco dog, is about 2Β½ years old, 37 cm tall and weighs 7 kilos. Here comes a heartbreaking story with a happy ending! Recently, a man came to
Another month full of experiences: beautiful moments, sad times, outrage, anger, hopelessness, strength and passion. NIMAThe little soul arrived at the end of the rainbow bridge and was asked "What was the most beautiful thing in your life?" β "I was loved," she answered.
Animal Police β Finca Noah β from the beginning to today! After 15 months of planning and replanning, grueling work, stress, uncertainty, doubt, tears, sore muscles, surprises and dead ends β and tons of building materials moved β the main construction work at Finca Noah is finally complete.
A terrible, sad, and unforgettable month of March comes to an END! Dear animal lovers, look at the harsh reality β horror images β don't look away! Only we humans can be this cruel! A disgrace to humanity! OURS
We finally did it. The buildings at Finca Noah, the animal paradise for tormented and abandoned animals, are now complete. All the animals living at Finca Noah, whether until they find a beautiful "forever home" or the animals who are allowed to stay at Finca Noah forever, now have a "roof" over their heads!
Written by Farah herself once again. Animal Police has had a great start to 2021, and the team is eager and ready to embrace the challenges that the new year brings with passion and dedication! Farah De Tomi's motto: "If it seems impossible, it's possible."
Written by Farah herself again. First and foremost, I want to sincerely apologize for keeping you waiting so long for today's newsletter. I'm truly sorry! Our construction work was in full swing
This month written by Farah herself again. Wow, October already β¦.. we're heading towards winter and the poor animals here on the island really have nothing to laugh about. When I wake up in the morning, everything outside is wet and cold from the dew and
September was a highlight for us animal protectors. This month written by Farah herself. Leona, our soul on four paws. An emergency call and a male voice asking for immediate help. A female dog had been sick for a long time and was walking around with a huge tumor.
August was an absolute highlight! The Animal Police team rescued many animals again this month, including 2 dogs and various cats. Our family at Finca Noah keeps growing and growing. There was also new arrival at the
July was not only a challenge for Animal Police, but also a very successful month with many highlights, and we're thrilled to share them with you. There are now 64 animals at Finca Noah
June was a huge success for Animal Police! We were able to help so many animals and our Finca Noah has made tremendous progress! We're thrilled to share this wonderful month with you. FINCA NOAH We're delighted to announce that Finca Noah is finally complete. Such a success β in such a short time, we couldn't even have imagined it in our dreams.
May was not only a challenge for Animal Police, but with great commitment, heartfelt actions and impressions, it was also very successful. COVID CRISIS The Animal Police team has survived another month of the coronavirus crisis. This brought
Animal Police rises to the challenge of the coronavirus crisis and continues to work at full speed for animal protection in April. MAJOR FEED DONATION The conditions caused by the lockdown on Mallorca are alarming when it comes to feeding animals and feed shortages.
At the beginning of March, the world still seemed to be in orderβ¦ β¦then we suddenly received the shocking news about the extent of COVID-19. Overnight, life changed β for us too β on the beautiful island of Mallorca. Within 24
February 2020 continued just as successfully as the year had started. We're delighted to share our progress and experiences with you. ANIMAL HOLIDAYS Animal lovers, take note! Animal Police is thrilled to announce
January was an exciting and wonderful start to the new year 2020. We laughed a lot, cried, celebrated, and were moved. However, we hold onto the beautiful moments with the animals and are delighted to share them with you.
AN EXCITING YEAR The Animal Police Association team looks back on an exciting year. We've collected so many experiences and memories together with our animals β beautiful and sad ones. We learned so much, laughed
CASH AND CARRY HAVE A HOME The two siblings Cash and Carry have finally found a new home in MΓΌnster, Germany. After the two cats enjoyed their fresh start for several months at Farah's home, they have found a beautiful and loving place to live.
SENIOR ROSSI LOOKING FOR A HOME Senior Rossi is a small, approximately three-year-old Ratero mix looking for a loving new home! He was locked up in a shed for years and is still quite anxious, as everything is new and unfamiliar to him. In the dark, he doesn't
ROBINE'S EXPERIENCES As a founding member of Animal Police Association, it was high time for me to spend a few days experiencing the daily work of Animal Police, and so I spent a wonderful time on the island of Mallorrc
PREPARING FOR WINTER We would like to make another appeal and ask for your support. The cold months are approaching and we are still collecting blankets, pillows, baskets and everything to protect our little
PLENTY OF SUN AND LITTLE WATER In July, we focused mainly on supplying water daily to all animals that have to stay somewhere in the middle of nowhere, in the blazing sun. The Animal Police team has been out across the whole island every day this hot summer
OUR ANIMALS Of course, this month too we have helped many poor creatures, rescued them, taken them in, nursed them back to health, and lovingly placed them in beautiful new homes. For June alone, veterinary care, food, legal costs and adoption fees cost us approximately 3,500 euros.
POSITIVE MEDIA PRESENCE FOR ANIMAL POLICE This month, Animal Police had the pleasure of welcoming a fantastic Swiss media house to Mallorca and experiencing a very exciting, yet also demanding time. The report is about Animal Police and the immense passion for animal welfare on the island. Animal Police is very curious about the forthcoming media presence and incredibly proud of our team, who all fight with their whole hearts for animals. Farah would like to take this opportunity to thank the entire Animal Police crew from the bottom of her heart, who always give their all beyond the challenging daily work, asking only for the gratitude of the animals as their reward. Everything we have achieved, we owe to every single helper.

#### BENEFIT EVENT
Towards the end of May, Animal Police organized its first benefit event on Mallorca to raise donations. Our ambassador [ANTONIA AUS TIROL](https://www.antonia.at) created a fantastic atmosphere with her rock performance from her new album "Rockschlager". We would like to thank her from the bottom of our hearts for her commitment and her big heart for animals! Thanks to the original event, Animal Police was able to raise donations totaling β¬1,760.00 and would like to thank all donors very warmly!
We also want to extend our deepest gratitude to CHRISTIANE SCHLEICHER AND STEFAN KLAPPER for the exceptionally generous voucher of β¬1,000.00 for our animals, thank you very much!

#### OUR ANIMALS
May presented Animal Police with particularly many tasks. We managed to rescue no fewer than 86 animals in this month alone. Among them were, for example, over 20 dogs that had to live in deplorable conditions, but are now safely housed in care stations. Our Vodka was also rescued and now gets to spend her young life in an absolutely dream location. Among the many rescued animals were not only dogs and cats, but also birds, ponies, donkeys, and even a marten. We are so happy and grateful for every little bit of help that enables us to help all these animals!

#### ANIMAL POLICE TRAVELS AROUND THE ISLAND
To rescue so many animals, of course one has to go long distances. The Animal Police team drove over 3,600 kilometers in their cars to reach every little animal that needed them at that moment. The costs for travel and fuel are, of course, paid out of their own pockets. We are impressed and very grateful that our team takes all this upon themselves for our little friends in need!
#### NEW ANIMAL SHELTER
In order to achieve the goal of its own animal shelter, Animal Police adjusted its course a bit. In the search for a place for our animals and taking "Gut Aiderbichl" as a model, the idea came to acquire our own piece of land to build a shelter for every type of animal from scratch. A country estate caught Animal Police's particular attention. The name of the shelter has also been found: "Finca Noah". We are curious and looking forward to what comes next.
#### NADESCHA AS PARTNER OF ANIMAL POLICE
Once again, Animal Police gets to celebrate a huge highlight. The powerhouse [Nadescha Leitze](https://www.instagram.com/nadescha_leitze/?hl=de) has been working for animal welfare on the island of Mallorca for 10 years now, and what she has achieved is indescribable! With her drive, she has now joined our team and gives us incredible strength. She is one of those people who not only talk, but really give everything for animals. At this point, the Animal Police team welcomes her very warmly!

#### ANIMAL FRIENDSHIPS
May brought us many dear animal lovers, for which we are very grateful. Animals connect people β this was proven to us again this month, and Animal Police is looking forward to future collaboration in the fight for animal rights!
We are already very curious about what June will bring us. We are totally ready to give our all, without "ifs or buts" β this is a promise from the Animal Police team.

NEW SANCTUARY Animal Police Association is working with all its might in March to turn the dream of its own sanctuary into reality. We are fighting for the rights of animals, to put an end to the cruel killing stations on Mallorca
OUR ROCKY One of our greatest successes this month was our friend ROCKY. A roughly 10-year-old German Shepherd male that we managed to rescue from a kill station in Palma Nuova thanks to dedicated effort. After the rescue operation, our new friend's survival was unfortunately not yet secure.
Beyond tourism and Ballermann Although Mallorca is well known for Ballermann, the dreamlike beautiful landscape must not be forgotten. Beautiful coves with white sandy beaches and the subtropical climate attract over 20 million tourists to the island every year
