Experience Report from Ramona, Christian and Mathias

Animal Police Association: A Safe Haven for Animals in Need

The Animal Police Association is more than just a nonprofit organization – it is a place of hope and healing for animals that have suffered a hard fate on the streets. Since its founding in June 2018, the initiative has set itself the goal of enabling stray, abandoned, and injured animals to live better lives. It doesn't matter whether they are dogs, cats, sheep, horses, donkeys, ducks, or even turtles – Animal Police helps every animal in need.

Their Mission: Love, Protection and a New Home

The organization works tirelessly to give animals a new life. Every animal that comes into the care of Animal Police receives not only urgently needed medical treatment, but also a large dose of love and care. After their recovery and rehabilitation, the animals are placed in loving homes where they can live lives of dignity and safety.

Day in and day out, Farah and her volunteer helpers do everything they can to get as many animals as possible off the streets and give them a second chance.

How It All Began

Our Meeting with Farah de Tomi: A Story of Animal Welfare and Friendship

Our love for Mallorca began in 2013. Even then, we noticed that the island, as beautiful as it is, has a sad side: the many dead animals along the roadside. It broke our hearts, but we didn't know how to help. Still, we returned every year, again and again to the picturesque Cala d'Or.

In 2021, everything was about to change for us.

Farah de Tomi – A Name That Stays

We first heard of Farah de Tomi when she was featured in the show "Adieu Heimat". There we learned that with her organization on Mallorca, she works tirelessly to help animals in need. Even then, her dedication impressed us, but personal contact came only later.

When we finally met Farah, she was just as we had imagined her – perhaps even more impressive. A reserved but kindhearted woman who communicates with animals in a way that only few people can. Her loving way, her big heart, and her tireless work for the animals of Mallorca touched us deeply.

Help That Connects

From our first meeting on, we knew we wanted to support Farah's work. As a family, we have donated and decided to participate actively. Today we are proud sponsors of three birds who have found a safe home in Farah's care. But that's not all: a cat that Farah rescued became part of our family – a little furry proof of the love she puts into her work.

Farah is now a firm part of our family. Her commitment has not only inspired us, but also shown us how important it is to give back. Whether through donations, taking on sponsorships, or simply through active support – we help where we can.

Why Farah's Work Is So Important

Farah de Tomi and her organization are a beacon of light on an island that for many is only a vacation paradise. She shows us the dark sides that we may not have wanted to see before, and she reminds us that we need people like her to bring about real change.

We are grateful to have met Farah, and even more grateful to be part of her story. Anyone who has the opportunity to support her and her work will quickly realize that it not only helps the animals – it enriches one's own life.

Farah, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts for everything you do. You are not only a rescuer of animals, but also an inspiration to us all. We love you.

How You Can Help

The Animal Police Association lives on the support of animal lovers. You can support the organization in many ways:

  • Donations: Every donation, large or small, helps finance the medical care and accommodation of the animals.
  • Volunteering: Help on-site or remotely, whether through care, transport, or administrative tasks.
  • Adoption: Give an animal a loving home and a chance at a new life.

The Animal Police Association shows how much compassion and commitment can achieve. Together, we can ensure that no animal is left behind.

Together we make the world a better place – one animal at a time. 🐾
