OUR labor of love – OUR Harley

Incomprehensible but unfortunately all too often the reality!
It breaks our hearts and we feel endless pain in our souls.
We are ashamed of what we humans do to our animals
And this is not an isolated case – every single day our animals must suffer at our hands!
LOOK closely, dear friends…..we don't understand it?
Our Harley should weigh over 50 kg for his breed!

Harley weighs just about 21 kg!

Once again, animal welfare activists reached out to our Farah because they could no longer watch a dog being tortured and abused, and they asked Farah for help.

Our Farah, true to her nature, did not hesitate for a moment and drove with the animal welfare activists to the poor dog. Farah's breath caught as she saw him, and her heart sank at what she witnessed – she could not believe what she was seeing. She could barely hold back her tears. But she had to be strong for this poor tortured dog in order to rescue him from this miserable situation. To snatch this poor dog from the cruel animal abusers, Farah first had to check whether the poor animal was microchipped…..thankfully, no chip!

Because only animals without a chip can Farah rescue IMMEDIATELY without possible legal consequences.

Farah and the animal welfare activists, without hesitation, freed the dog from this miserable situation!

Direct to the animal clinic to get an initial assessment of how serious Harley's condition was (that's what Farah named the poor soul). The examination results for our Harley were not good. Complete kidney failure, dehydrated, starving, leishmaniasis, abscesses, and apart from the emotional trauma?

Harley's treatment and therapy will be a long road. It will take a lot of love, time, and many veterinary visits. Harley's long-term treatment will be very expensive!

Please donate for the many treatments! Give him a second chance – Harley deserves this chance! Dear Animal Police friends PLEASE don't let Harley down because WE are the GOOD ONES!

After days of fighting, we had to let him go……

Unfortunately, we had to make a very sad decision for our dear Harley!

We did everything we could and still couldn't help him. We fought with him and for him and sadly lost the battle…we had to let him go.

On 23.03.2021 our Harley crossed the Rainbow Bridge. To a more beautiful place where no one will ever torment or mistreat him, where he will only experience love.

Our comfort – he experienced love and security for the first time.

We wish Harley a safe journey and from the bottom of our hearts that he will find peace.

The Legend of the Rainbow Bridge:

The Heaven of our beloved animals

Many pet owners know it, the story of the Rainbow Bridge. When the time comes for a beloved animal to die, it is said that it will cross the Rainbow Bridge. This touching story of grief is meant to bring comfort and make the parting more bearable. It is for all who have lost their pet.

I would like to tell you a short version of this beautiful story. There exists a bridge in rainbow colors that connects the earth and the heavens. When an animal falls asleep forever, it goes to this colorful bridge and comes to a beautiful place where it always has enough to eat and drink. The old and sick animals suddenly become young and healthy again, they are lively and play with all the animals. But they all miss something very much – their beloved human on earth, whom they loved unconditionally. And while the animals romp about on the beautiful meadow, suddenly one of the animals in the group steps forward because it sees its human. It runs, the joy of reunion is incredible and overwhelming. At last you can look again into the faithful eyes of your beloved animal. Human and animal cross the Rainbow Bridge together and from then on will never be separated again – happily united forever……………..

Our "Bambi" Coco has become a proud little doe

Dear animal lovers, do you remember our "Bambi" Coco, whom our Farah rescued last year from appalling conditions? Farah received a tip from "some" neighbor that once again a bad person had locked a fawn on a balcony! Farah could hardly believe what she found – really a roe deer fawn! Without hesitation, Farah "relocated" the little deer to Finca Noah – SMILE. Coco was still a little Bambi back then. In the meantime, our Coco has become a proud little doe. Look at the photos, simply beautiful!

Regardless of who or what we are, peaceful coexistence with our animals....

In March too we found a lovely "home" for an animal soul

In August 2020 we were able to place our tom cat Charlie in Switzerland in Wettingen.

Farah took in the tom cat Charlie when he was just 3 days old. And every cat lover knows that caring for a 3-day-old kitten is not easy. But our Charlie managed and developed beautifully and was able to travel to Switzerland to Patrizia, a friend of Farah. The lovely Patrizia gave Charlie a beautiful home and he can enjoy his cat life. When Farah's friend saw our handsome Prince, it was clear that he would be Charlie's cat brother. Prince was also able to travel to Switzerland in March to join Patrizia and Charlie. With Patrizia, Charlie and Prince can now enjoy their future cat lives to the fullest. We wish Prince and Charlie many more exciting, happy, and healthy years in their new "home"

For our beautiful brown Onei, who has already been living at Finca Noah for a year, we urgently need a kind horse godparent. Exotic residents move into Finca Noah – Berta and Massimo

Tropical feeling at Finca Noah. Is Finca Noah soon to become a second Noah's Ark?

These 2 beautiful macaws were given to Farah because their owner had passed away and no one wanted to take responsibility for them. Anyone who wants to get parrots must think very carefully about it. A macaw can live up to 70 years in captivity.

Thanks to a kind-hearted person, Frankie Boy, Farah was able to take in these two macaws named Berta and Massimo. Frankie Boy financed a conversion costing EUR 2,850.00. The already-built carport is being converted into a generous aviary with plenty of freedom of movement and climbing opportunities for the parrots. Working with parrot experts, Farah clarified the parrots' needs beforehand. There are now no obstacles to species-appropriate housing for the animals. The welfare of the animals is always Farah's top priority. Berta and Massimo will certainly feel very comfortable and will lack for nothing.

Joyful reunion – "visiting day" with Trulla in Germany

After many eventful and very demanding weeks, our Farah decided to take a little break. Farah flew to her life partner Verena in Germany to gather strength and new energy for a few days. During her short vacation, Farah and Verena seized the opportunity and spontaneously visited our little sweet Trulla-mouse.

The JOY was great and boisterous as you can see in the photos.
The little Trulla girl did not forget Farah – she recognized her right away!
Trulla has settled in well and is happy. Her new dog parents love her dearly.
Trulla has finally found a place to enjoy her dog life to the fullest.

On the grounds of Finca Noah with the many animal residents, there is always so much to do. The work is not always easy. No, dear animal lovers, there are also many heavy jobs on the farm that cannot be handled by hand. Farah often had to rent an expensive tractor for heavy work. The opportunity came along and our energetic Farah managed to get a tractor. Now many things can be moved with the "partner" on four wheels.

Roger is the vehicle manager with a heart on our team. Roger is responsible for the "well-being" of the vehicles at Finca Noah. When one of our horsepower helpers has a loose screw or a machine breaks down, Roger stands by Animal Police with his technical expertise – free of charge. Dear Roger, a heartfelt thank you and many more years of POWER with Animal Police

We can now literally move a lot on our Finca Noah.
