DECEMBER 2021
Dear animal lover, What turbulent weeks we've just had! That's why we're only getting back in touch now. We've tackled and implemented a lot over the past few weeks and months, but we've also had to contend with many obstacles and unexpected hurdles.

Dear animal lover,
What turbulent weeks we've just had!
That's why we're only getting back in touch now. We've tackled and implemented a lot over the past few weeks and months, but we've also had to contend with many obstacles and unexpected hurdles.
Murta has found a family!
But first, some good news. Dear Murta was with us since July. Despite many inquiries, we couldn't find a suitable home for her on the island. After extensive clarifications, we decided to fly Murta to Switzerland so she could be rehomed more easily from there. But these plans changed at short notice: Murta was able to travel to a new family in Germany and is now enjoying her newfound freedom in her golden years. We wish her with all our hearts that she settles well in her new home. Murta β we love you!
Roger & Farah in Santorini
In October, Farah and Roger were finally able to undertake an adventurous journey to the Greek island of Santorini and successfully bring four Labrador-mix sibling puppies to Switzerland. Thanks to Nadja WΓΌethrich from Basel Regional Animal Welfare Association, we were able to place all four in wonderful homes (you can find the videos here)

A tough setback
Unfortunately, we suffered a major personnel setback in October. Mike, our farm manager, left Finca Noah, which left a significant gap in our daily work on the farm. But many friends helped us during this time, pitched in on site, or tried to find new animal lovers through friends, acquaintances, newspapers, the internet, etc. to strengthen our team at Finca Noah.
Even in difficult circumstances, the welfare of the animals was and remains our top priority. And so over the past few weeks we've been able to rehome numerous cats and dogs to new owners, which makes us very happy. We also want to give a huge thank you to our veterinarians Manuela and Jann Rapp, who always make the impossible possible!
Villa Starky
A special highlight in November was the construction of the new extension building "Villa Starky". A big thank you to the Stark family, who made this possible! Where previously two rickety plastic huts served as a food preparation station and storage, there now stands a spacious wooden building, which includes not only the food preparation area but also a small wash station. That's right β a dog wash station that we're particularly proud of!
Lluna needs you!
Finally, we have a call for help: Unfortunately, the lovely dog Lluna has been with us at Finca Noah for far too long. She was brought to us in April with her sister. Her sister was able to go to her new family just a month later. Since then, Lluna has been waiting impatiently, hoping that fate will be kind to her too. She's such a wonderful, loving dog, and we desperately hope to find a new home for her. Take a look here.
Our Christmas wish
There are only a few days left until Christmas. We have only one wish on our wish list: your financial support! Together we can accomplish so much for animal welfare here on Mallorca, we can nurse many four-legged friends back to health and find them homes β but we depend on your donation and support. Our animals are grateful for every contribution, no matter how small and of course how large. Every franc/euro counts!
The entire Finca Noah team wishes you heartfelt and above all healthy holidays!
