OUR ANIMALS

Of course, this month too we have helped many poor creatures, rescued them, taken them in, nursed them back to health, and lovingly placed them in beautiful new homes.

For June alone, veterinary care, food, legal costs and adoption fees cost us approximately 3,500 euros. Of course, the work of the Animal Police team here is neither charged for nor compensated, and we want to thank our team once again in the most sincere way! You are all amazing and we are grateful to have such a strong team behind us!

We simply want to share these costs with you to show what just one month costs us. And this is only possible thanks to our donors, and we want to thank them again from the bottom of our hearts.

ANIMAL POLICE IN SCHWEIZER ILLUSTRIERTE

In June 2019, Animal Police had the honor of gaining a major presence in the magazine "Schweizer Illustrierte" through a four-page article about Farah de Tomi.

The article tells of Farah's mission to help poor, suffering animals on Mallorca, as well as the founding and heartfelt work of the Animal Police team, and especially about the planning of "Finca Noah" following the model of "Gut Aiderbichel" in Austria.

At this point, we want to thank from the bottom of our hearts the Schweizer Illustrierte and entertainment editor Karin El Mais for this wonderful opportunity and the strength it has given us! Following the article, we already received some donations and compliments, for which we are infinitely grateful. Through media support, many suffering animals get the chance for a better life. Animal Police is thrilled about this amazing article!

"Dear Farah de Tomi, I read your article in SI and now I am a fan of yours. How wonderful that there are such animal-loving people like you. Thank you so much for helping the suffering animals on Mallorca. Every country should have a "Farah", unfortunately it would be urgently needed. I have traveled by motorcycle through many countries and always see suffering and underfed animals. When I can, I talk to people and try to make them understand that animals feel fear and pain and don't deserve to suffer, but I often meet with rejection and ignorance mixed with a lack of understanding. I have cried many times on my travels; whenever I see animals suffering, the tears come immediately and I am infinitely sad. No animal deserves to suffer; they are so pure and innocent. I myself have 3 cats and for many years I also had my own horses. But I didn't have the time and for the last 4 years I haven't had a horse, but I would never give up my cats. They enjoy a dream life with me and my husband, as they deserve. I will be happy to donate in small amounts in the future and support you that way. I wish you much luck with the implementation of "Finca Noah". God bless you; I wish you all the love and goodness in the world.

OUR ANIMAL FRIENDS

In June too, we had the pleasure of meeting some wonderful animal lovers. By now we are a whole group of animal protectors on Mallorca, who day and night do everything humanly possible to help every small, poor soul in need.

At this point, we want to thank from the depths of our hearts TANNE! Our Tanne shows tireless commitment and is ready to help at any time, day or night, when an animal calls for help.

Through our Alessandra, we had the pleasure of meeting three more wonderful people and adding them to our team:

We extend our deepest gratitude and respect to our dear SILVIE. For Farah, she is "the angel of the island". She already has over a hundred animals at home and has been on the beautiful island of Mallorca for over 20 years, dedicating her life to animal protection.

We also had the pleasure of meeting dear VERENA and SUSANNE. Verena has devoted herself to a huge task: she runs the animal shelter of her late friend. Verena actually lives in Germany and flies back and forth every week to manage the animal shelter together with Susanne with so much enthusiasm, energy and joy! It is so beautiful to have such people by your side and to give each other strength.

GABY has also been on the island of Mallorca for many years and owns a riding stable near Palma. She is a very down-to-earth powerhouse who always offers us support at any time, and we, and especially Farah, are infinitely grateful for that!

Also MARLENE has been on the island for many years and covers the entire eastern area (Cala Millor) to rescue animals. She too has taken in over a hundred animals at home, and she is always available for any questions or assistance for Animal Police, and we are grateful from the depths of our hearts for that!

Farah would like to point out at this juncture that she doesn't want to miss any of these people in her life, and knowing that she is not alone gives her so much strength and joy. For all of us, there is only one motto: "together we are strong" and we fight together for the same thing, for the rights of animals!

URGENT HELP NEEDED

Our team now also includes the dear Jenny. Jenny has been involved in animal protection for several years and has her own animal welfare organization. Animal Police would like to sincerely thank JENNY for her commitment to the animals on Mallorca and her collaboration with Animal Police!

This month, Jenny proved how big her heart is for animals. Together with Animal Police, we rescued two very poor dogs from miserable conditions. These two Galgos, Ella and Elsa, are in such bad condition and so emotionally destroyed that they cannot be rehomed. When the dogs were found, they were covered with fleas and ticks, so malnourished and sick that it breaks your heart. In this emergency, Jenny offered to take in both of them, alongside her 13 already rescued dogs, and give them a peaceful life. For Animal Police, this is an incredible act of heroism that deeply moves us.

For her generosity, we want to support Jenny! The two Galgos urgently need help in the form of a sponsorship! A sponsorship for one of the two dogs is offered for 50 euros per month, and we are incredibly grateful if someone would support Jenny's act of heroism!

OUR TROI

A few days ago, Animal Police received a beautiful message from our "Troi", who was allowed to move to a loving new home in Switzerland a few weeks ago. Our hearts warm and we are overjoyed for our friend Troi, that he feels so comfortable in his loving home and is doing well again!

"Dear Farah. Life in Zwillikon is super great!!! Imagine, I got a soft bed. I guard it like the apple of my eye. With my little, teenage brother Ati, I even try to play. Unfortunately, my adoptive mom tries to teach me sit and stay. What's the point of that? But I do what I want anyway. I have her pretty well under control. I don't want anything to do with people I don't know; she doesn't understand that. I guess I'll have to give her some more time...

FINCA NOAH

We are still fighting for our big dream of our own "Gut Aiderbichel" in the form of our Finca Noah. To make our dream come true, we have already found the perfect piece of land. Unfortunately, we still lack the necessary funding, but we don't give up collecting donations to create a paradise for poor animals. Once we reach our goal, the suffering of animals on Mallorca will finally come to an end.

We are infinitely grateful for every bit of support! Together you are always stronger!

HOMEPAGE – ADOPTION RELEASES

Since June, Animal Police has created a new opportunity for suffering animals. On our homepage under ADOPTIONS, you now have the option to release your animal for adoption that urgently needs a new home. Every visitor to our homepage can place their own ad with us.

However, we do not support breeders or organizations that want to make money from animals; such inquiries are of course blocked directly on the site. We hope that this platform becomes a very large portal to save animals around the world. For every animal placed through our homepage, 10 euros flow into Animal Police's donation account to help other animals.

Animal Police is already looking forward to hopefully bringing you the latest news at the end of July.

For updates in between, our social media channels always provide information, images and videos. We would be delighted if you would follow us there too.
