Dear Readers, Dear Animal Friends, First of all, I want to apologize to you. Last month, I didn't write or send out a newsletter on behalf of Animal Police. But that doesn't mean we forgot about you, nor does it mean we had nothing to report β quite the opposite.

Dear Readers,
Dear Animal Friends,
First of all, I want to apologize to you. Last month, I didn't write or send out a newsletter on behalf of Animal Police. But that doesn't mean we forgot about you, nor does it mean we had nothing to report β quite the opposite. I hope this newsletter will bring you to Finca Noah in thought and heart, leaving no room for disappointment.
After one and a half years of intensive searching, we have found a new home for our nearly 300 animals. After such a long search, we were almost desperate. The doubts about whether we would manage to find a new and safe home for our rescued animals often pushed us to our limits.
We didn't give up, we overcame many hurdles and had to accept many setbacks. It's not entirely easy to put into words what a nerve-wracking time we've been through. The pressure weighing on our shoulders to find a home for the animals before the lease extension ran out was enormous. Our biggest worry β will we find a finca β has turned into joy thanks to our strong determination not to abandon our animals. The next challenge is already waiting for us: the complete deconstruction of Finca Noah. Farah often says that we have no idea how much work, how much heart and soul, how much planning and vision, how much money has gone into all of this. The dismantling and partial demolition breaks Farah's heart. She built Finca Noah during the Corona period with a lot of sweat and tears. She set herself a time limit of one year, and exactly then the sanctuary for the animals was created. Many people thought she was crazy and laughed at her. But then they took off their hats to her, took her seriously, and supported the animals with donations, so that many animals were rescued and given a species-appropriate life at Finca Noah. Now everything has to be moved in the shortest time possible. This time too, there is a deadline that would make many people give up. Despite all the circumstances, we have not neglected our work with the animals in any way. It's important to us that our animals experience as little stress from all of this as possible. Finca Noah is a second chance at life for the animals, it is their home, their refuge, where they can live and recover.
On September 20, we celebrated a farewell event at Finca Noah. We had a wonderful afternoon with amazing people, friends, family, and animal welfare advocates. The occasion for this fundraising event was to say goodbye to Finca Noah, which had given many rescued animals a temporary or permanent home. Donations were also very welcome so that renovations can begin at Finca Noah 2.0 and a new safe home can be created. Dear Gudi Schade provided musical entertainment and delighted us with her enchanting live singing.
Dear Miriam and Martin from Restaurant Petita in Cala d'Or sponsored the catering. We are so proud to have people by our side who actively support us and offer their help whenever it comes to animal welfare. The large animal welfare organization Veto does the same. We are extremely proud that Marco, the head of Veto, visited us personally at Finca Noah. Moments like this practically never happen, Marco told us. That shows us even more that Veto is enthusiastic about the philosophy of how the Animal Police team operates animal welfare. The generous donation that Marco promised us actually arrived the next day. Despite all the donations we received, Farah was forced to take out a loan, which ultimately made the purchase possible. As I often write to you, Farah goes far beyond her limits when it comes to the welfare of the animals. If you would like to continue supporting us, I'm sure Farah will feel much relieved.
We celebrated the farewell to Finca Noah surrounded by our animals. With the people who accompanied us that day, we discussed the origins, the development, and the current deconstruction. Talking about all of this again and reminiscing makes us quite emotional. Through this event we received a lot of encouragement, many positive thoughts, and motivation, so that now we tackle the move with full force every single day β a move that pushes you to your limits not just physically. After all, we're not just moving a household. We're also taking nearly 300 animals with us and a lot of materials to renovate and expand the stables.
If you want to see all of this in pictures⦠Farah is in the middle of filming for the new season on Swiss TV station 3plus. The current season Adieu Heimat will air from October 13, 2025.
